A few months ago my mom purchased a Tea Party for Kinley at her church auction from some sweet ladies at her church.
Kinley would be the guest of honor and she could invite 4 friends to have tea with her. After a few months of date changing and trying to nail down a date good for all the ladies and Kinely's friends, we finally got to have tea this past weekend.
They decided to call it "Kinley's Back to School Tea Party."
The girls were supposed to dress in their fanciest clothes to attend tea.
Kinley's vision of her fanciest outfit was her Tiana dress and her hair done like she just left the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and once we got her ready, she was in full-on Disney princess mode and ready to pose with her admiring fans.
The set up of the tea party was so cute.

Kinley, her friends and both her grandmas got to sit at the table with the granddaughter, Ella, of the lady that threw the tea party. Ella is 8 and would explain every course to the little girls and show them proper tea party etiquette. She was so precious.
The first course was Kinley's favorite finger sandwiches with English Breakfast Tea.
The biggest hit on the table was the sugar cubes which they piled in to every cup of tea.
The second course was fruit and cheese with Ginger Peach tea. They loved getting to drizzle chocolate and caramel and powdered sugar on all their fruit.
The last course was dessert with the "champagne of teas" Darjeeling tea.
In between courses they wrote their names with crayons, were read a book about tea parties and played a game.
We ended the party with some posed pics.

Each girl left with party favors filled with a fancy hat to take home, candy popcorn and crayons and tea to make at home for their own tea party.
It was SO sweet and so much fun!

Well this is the sweetest! I love the tea time idea for an auction. So so sweet that Kinley got to bring friends and dress so fancy. I love it!
