I was not going to have a baby shower or anything for baby #3 because.... we have a lot of hand me down stuff for the baby and because..... we don't know the gender and.... I just don't know how many times you get to have a baby shower??
But, after some persistent encouraging by a few sweet friends we had the cutest, most fun, non-traditional couples shower for Baby #3.
It was small with just a few close couple friends and our parents, no kids and an adult theme!
Lindsey and Ross hosted the party with lots of help from Mendy and Alex and some other sweet friends.
It was so fun to arrive at their house and see this cute diaper wreath made by Linds for us!
The whole party theme was a diaper shower and we got tons of diapers for sweet baby#3 that will be the biggest help to us when he or she arrives!
It was the cutest theme with so, so many decorative details and just tons of thought.
I cannot wait to read all these as I change baby diapers in the near future.
I am sure I will laugh like crazy.
Stacee made this adorable diaper/beer cake with full beer for Ben to take home. It was so cute! And of course every chalkboard is a Mendy Harrison special.
There were diaper / flower centerpieces everywhere.
Staci actually went into a random field to retrieve all of these real sunflowers. So sweet!
Kristen brought all kinds of bunting and blue and white checkerboard tablecloths. I wish I could have been on the email chain of all these sweet and talented girls planning this party.
Cutest party favors because we are adding Smore love to our growing family!
All the hostesses brought food and drinks and their own decor it all just pulled together so well!
We are just so thankful for our sweet friends that came to celebrate with excitement Baby #3. My precious college roomate, Lindsay, came in to celebrate and spend the night with Kris and I and it was just the best thing having her in town!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for being excited for us and celebrating Baby #3 with so much love. You are all truly a blessing and we love you so much.
