More May

We spent the first weekend at May at the lakehouse with the Harrisons. Sporting our best Cinco de Mayo flair and made our own Mambo Taxis and sopapillas. 

 

 If there is any way for this kid to sit with dad in a driver's seat, he is taking it. 

 Boat, car, lawnmower, jet ski, bumper car, you name it, he is driving. 

 

Dylan had to borrow Cannon's swimsuit one day. 

He sure does look cute in his little chubbies.

  

We had a very rare lunch one day with just the original 5. 

 A pretty sweet time together talking about life and the future and plans and loving on each other.

Also, popsicles and swimming at the Nordells as much as possible 

 

 What it looks like when you run to the gym but want a ride back to your car....4 adults, 3 kids, 3 strollers...so safe (but seriously, we only drove this way like 2 miles from the gym back to church) 

 

Love our family dinner nights with Francesca and Rafael. 

We will miss them SO much when they move to Atlanta. 

 

Kinley had her spring piano recital and it went much better than her first one at Christmas but I could still tell she was a little nervous. 

We will just keep practicing and performing and being so grateful for Ms. Taylor!

Olivia's law firm had a suite at the Byron Nelson and she and Bart asked Matt, Sandy, Ben and I to join them for the Sunday round. 

 It was my first time to go to a golf tournament and it was so fun!

Compass Last Day and Ty's Preschool Graduation and Kindergarten Roundup

Last Day of Compass Preschool for these boys. 

Dylan's last day in the 1's and Ty's last day in the 4's. 

 

Dylan will SO miss Ms Dianna and Ms Kathleen! They have been amazing! 

 

 And Ty had the most patient and kind teachers ever in Ms. Kimberly and Ms Diane 

 

 Ty's 4's Graduation included an Under The Sea program where they were to dress in their Sunday Best as well as a cap and gown ceremony where they walk the stage and get diplomas.

These boys were always close but took it to a whole new level in class with Ms. Vicki. We love her so much. Kinley had her and Ty and Dylan will next year. The only preschool teacher to have all three of my kids.

We had a small little preschool graduation swim party at the Nordells for Ty, Sean Ryan and Ryland the weekend after. We had tons of pics of the three of them together since birth and it was SO cute to celebrate and go back through memory lane. 

 

I cannot believe Ty is going to Kindergarten! He had his first very own OCT experience at Kindergarten Roundup. It was a special night just for Ty. He and I went up to the school and he got to go do some initial testing and getting acquainted with the Kinder classrooms while I attended a parent meeting.

 

 These sweet Kinder teachers have NO idea what is coming for them next year. 

When Kinley started Kinder she knew like 2 other kids going to school with her. 

Ty knows like 20. 

There will be no initial "getting to know each other" period for these kids.

 It will probably start full-on crazy on day 1. 

But, how FUN for these cute Kinder-babies!?!?

 And bed time with these three that made me a mom 

 

Being a mom is my life's greatest work and greatest gift.

 I am so thankful God has gifted me the opportunity.  

And I am so glad I get to do it with such amazing examples to look up to and incredible confidants at my side.  It is just so much sweeter.
