Kinley had Aubrey come spend the night for her first official sleepover.
We have spent lots of nights with friends but, never had someone at our house without their mom so, we are calling this our first official sleepover.
Kinley has been excited for weeks for Aubrey to come stay. They talked about it when we were all together for Inie and Bull's party and she has asked me constantly since then when Aubrey was coming.
She had lots of ideas about what our sleepover should entail...movies, popcorn, makeovers, pillow fights...pretty much everything you could think of.
I was thankful that the next day was Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A and it gave me a built-in excitement level and craft to do for the sleepover.
We started making our shirts right away and I just traced the "EAT MOR CHIKIN" sign from the chick-fil-a website with a red fabric marker on all our shirts and outlined some spots with fabric paint and the girls filled them all in.
Then we painted nails. Each picked a patterned version of black and white to match our shirts.
Then it was Frozen sing a long and popcorn time.
Finally, we went to bed late and these cuties slept all night long.
The next day we got up and went to chickfila for breakfast and loved some chicken minis meals all for free!
How cute are these little cows!?
After breakfast we headed out to Jump for Fun with some friends.
Apparently cows like to jump too!
Then it was back to chickfila for free lunch :)
(On a side note, we DID end up going BACK to chickfila a 3rd time for dinner that night with Ben....and it was free too and great but, I have to say, I was chickfila'ed out. Which I did not think was possible.)
It was an extra-special free giveaway day because it also happened to be 7/11 and you can get free slurpees from 11 to 7 at 7-11. So, we did that for an after lunch treat before sending Aubrey back on an exhausted sugar high :)
It was just the most fun sleepover ever and we can't wait for more to come!
