OCT in Nov - Veteran's Day, Fall Festival, 3rd Grade Zoo Field Trip, Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast

Lots happening at OCT for my big kids in November.....

Kinley was in the Veterans Day program at her school and it was so much fun seeing those precious kids in red, white and blue perform patriotic songs in honor of our great Veterans. 

 It is one of my favorite elementary school programs. 

They have wonderful speakers and students and parents all get to watch. 

They honor all veterans and branches of military service and it is just so special. 

 

Fall Festival at school is always such a fun day. This year was better than it ever has been and all my kids had a blast. There were games, candy, popcorn (as usual) and this year 7-11 came and sponsored with slurpees and pizza, there was an exotic animal petting zoo, face painting and hair spray-paint-ing, a nerf gun battle zone and more.

   

A fan favorite is always the jail cell. 

You spend some money buying a ticket to put someone in "jail" and you get to hit them up with confetti eggs. 

 It is a blast. 

The BEST Vice Principal and Principal ever. 

 

Kinley's friends even called me and Dylan to the jail at some point. 

 

Kinley's Fall Field trip was to the Ft Worth Zoo. My mom kept Dylan for me that day since he technically isn't allowed to come on field trips with me...but, it was a nice day and mom brought him to the zoo too. It was so fun having them with us.

Ty got to have a Thanksgiving Feast in his Kindergarten class. 

I loved spending time with my handsome Kinder turkey.

Ty was also star-student that week and he's showing me his poster hung up on the wall. He really lacks emotion and enthusiasm.

   

We LOVE Mrs. Richardson 

 

Mrs. Richardson tweeted out the cutest collage of all the little turkeys. 

 

They also had a Chica-Chica-Boom-Boom party for all the kids in their class learning all their letters. Each kid got to dress like a letter in the alphabet and Ty picked 'T' annnnnnnd his whole outfit. :)

More November

Such a fun play date one day with Ry and Jaymes over. 

The boys put on a "cowboy show" complete with a dance party for the girls and we played outside in the great weather. It was fun!  

Dylan was pooped after and passed out with his hand in the cereal bag 

 

 Sweet Dylan loves Haley and they are like 2 peas in a pod most days. 

 And Haley could not be more patient with all the climbing kids she has endured over the years. 

 How we love her so.

 I am not sure how many more years we have left with our first girl, but we will treasure them all. 

 

 Loved grocery shopping with our community group for GRACE food pantry for Thanksgiving meals.

  

Fun Bass Hall night that Mendy & Alex joined the party for! 

 Some day we will talk them into the full season of tickets with us!

The Fogles came in town in November and we LOVE it when they come. Everyone has a playdate and picks up right where they left off.  I promise we can go to LaHa and have salsa and Mexican food anytime if you move back! 

Fall Soccer

Another fall soccer season in the books for Ty on the Vipers. 

 I am pretty sure we lost every game this season, our boys are nearing the end of their Rec days for soccer....to be able to compete where they should they are going to either have to play up or move to select.

 It was not really fair to a couple of them this year to play on a team with so many who had never played before. 

 But, I am not real ready for too much competition yet so it was still a very fun season for Ty. 

And their uniforms were so cute this season and we were very thankful for Ryan being their coach!
