Dylan and I started this weekend with a visit to Inie for her birthday.
We took her to lunch at Chickfila and fed the ducks at the pond by her house.
After school got out for the day, we headed out to the Ranch.
For Dad's birthday (in Sept) the only thing he wanted was his whole family to spend one weekend together at the Ranch. It's harder than you would expect to get us all there but, a couple months later we made it happen.
We spent the weekend sleeping in the shop and in this bad boy.
Dad rented the pull-trailer for the weekend and it was actually amazing. He just pulled it up under the roof of the shop and there it stayed as our "campground" for the weekend.
Lots of time spent in the rocking chairs around the fire overlooking the land.
and Smores at night
Reading our bible before bed in our little bunks in the trailer
Heading out at night after the kids are in bed to go spotlighting
This was maybe the first time there were mimosas at the ranch. So classy.
picking up pecans
Lots of toys to drive us around at the Ranch.
A little handgun practice
This was so gross I can almost smell it just by looking at this picture.
When the last flood came through, this area became a little trench full of water and some BIG fish got caught here and died.
They had to stop and stare at them just dead in the mud. Ewwww...boys!
Loading up to go feed the cows
These two do EVERYTHING together...I mean everything
Dads and boys
Riding the tractor with Boss
A visit to the beach by the river
Just like a day at the beach........right?
