Christmas serving

Kinley's Girl Scout troop went caroling at a local retirement center.
They were SO cute singing almost all of their songs from their Christmas program at school last year.

This girl has a servant's heart, a true natural ability and GIFT from God.

We did our annual tradition with playgroup of bringing christmas crafts and treats to a nursing home and we did some caroling there also.

Ty has a way with the elderly...he is not shy at all and just chats their ears off and they LOVE him.

I LOVE Christmas break when all my kids home and we can go do these things all during the day together.

One of my FAVORITE serve opportunities of the year is our Meal Marathon at church. I think we packaged over 750,000 meals in one day this year. It was Kinley's first year to get to do this and she did awesome. She stood for our entire shift and did not stop working hard scooping, packaging, counting...doing all she could to be helpful. Hopefully, there are many Haitian families that will get to eat these nutritious meals soon!

I got to serve and sing in some Christmas Eve services this year for the first time and it was so fun! Such an honor and I am so thankful I got to be a part of it.
