4th of July

We spent the 4th at Camp David for the 18th annual celebration. 4th of July is pretty much my kids favorite weekend of the year.

Bart and Olivia used the holiday weekend as an opportunity for a little baby moon and Honey and Boss were keeping Anson which was just SO fun for us! Boss even joined us for the square this year so Anson could come with the kids. 
We loved having him at the lake with us this year!

We also had team games this year for the first time which was phenomenal.
We broke into two teams, red and blue.
Blue: Grandpas, moms, girl-kids vs Red: Grandmas, dads and boy-kids.
It was so much fun!!! And obviously Blue Team rocked!

Kinley was so excited about the 4th that the week of she could not stop talking about it.
She would tell me constantly what she was excited about and what we were going to do.
She was sort of obsessive about it.
She couldn't stop.
One time she came up to me and, very seriously, she told me how she had been walking around the backyard just reciting to herself what we were going to do and she couldn't stop thinking about it. 

I told her maybe she could move on if she just wrote it all down.
So she did.
Three pages full.
Every detail of every moment of every day we would be there. 

Basically I am just going to let Kinley describe what 4th of July in Granbury at Camp David is like each year.
She pretty much nailed it.
