Faux Chenille Blanket for Baby Isaac

For Emily's shower, I decided I wanted to do something a little special for Isaac's gift. I saw this tutorial on MADE and have been dying to try her Faux Chenille baby blanket. So, I went to Hobby Lobby and bought 1 and 1/4 yards of all these fabrics and some navy binding tape that would be another pop of color.

Let me tell you, Dana does NOT lie when she says that this is a long project. It is time consuming and you sew and sew and sew until you think you can't sew anymore and then you cut and cut and cut until your hand is about to fall off. Ben helped me alot by cutting almost all of the blanket...so it was truly a gift for Isaac from me AND Ben! But, after all that sewing and cutting...the end result is pretty awesome. It turned out great.

Hopefully by the time I want to make another one, my hand will not hurt anymore :)
