Buddy the Elf Advent Days 6 - 10 - Grapevine Parade, Compass Kids Choir, Ty hunting and Casa Manana

Day 6 - Wear a Santa hat
 

 Day 7 - Grapevine Parade of Lights
 
 It totally felt like Christmas on this cold night.
We were bundled up and drinking hot chocolate.
 Dinner at the office before hand as always and a place to warm up if we needed it.
 Such a fun tradition.


Day 8 - Wear Red & Green to School
 

 Day 9 - Compass Kids Choir
 
Such a FUN weekend singing with Compass Kids Choir.
They performed and awesome Little Drummer boy number complete with glowsticks, the high school drumline, and the CUTEST Celebrate-Always custom made little drummer boy shirts EVER!

Uncle Matt-Matt got to come watch Kinley sing!

Ty participated in the Compass Kids Choir season but didn't make the performance because he got a chance to go deer hunting for the first time with Ben.
They had a great time on 3TreesRanch with their buddies hunting and playing and being boys.
Ben even took a few pictures for me!
Such a good daddy.
 

 Day 10 - Go see Santa Clause at Casa Manana
 
We went to see Santa Claus - A New Musical at Casa Manana.
We love the Christmas show because we get our picture taken with Santa when we go! Ty was not with us this time because he was hunting but, we had Anson instead.

We missed Evelyn in our Santa pic too because she stayed back with Boss and Bart but we always love loving on her any chance we get.

Buddy the Elf Advent Days 1 to 5 - Stockyards parade and the crazy house

Our Buddy the Elf Advent tradition continues.
Buddy comes on December 1 and brings a family activity and a scripture each day.
Our kids love finding him each day and it brings some structure, excitement and focus to our holy holiday season.

Day 1 - Read the Elf Story and Watch the Movie
 

Day 2 - Christmas at the Stockyards
 
We went with the Nordells to watch the Christmas parade at the stockyards.
 The kids got to write letters to soldiers, eat food truck food, explore the stockyards and watch the parade.
 It was our first time to do this but was SO fun.
 I totally hope to do this again.


Day 3 - Texas Night Before Christmas and Crazy House Lights

Just the first of many times we drive through these lights at Christmastime.
Such a treasure to have close by.
 
Another night we went with playgroup where we load up in the back of trucks with hot chocolate and all go together.

Day 4 - Build a Gingerbread House 
   

Day 5 - Christmas Song sing-a-long and dance party

 We did this at Minnie & Alex & Cannon's house and it was a hit all around! Love those crazy kids so much.
