100th Day of Kinder & Kinder Rodeo

Ty had his 100th day of Kindergarten and they dress up like they are 100.

 I can't even handle these pictures. 

 With his suspenders, bow tie, eyebrow classes, grey hair and cane! 

He even has the walk down!

Ty had his Kindergarten Rodeo the day that we left for NYC and I had to miss it. 

 Ben and Gary & Cheryl got to go but I hated to miss it. 

Thankfully, I got to go watch the rodeo parade first thing in the morning before we got on the plane and was able to watch this cute cowboy parade the halls. 

Also thankful to a few friends who sent me lots of pics and videos since I had to miss the performances.

 

 

More February - Stripes the Tiger, Birthday Party, Casa Manana

Ty had Stripes, the class pet, home for a weekend and we got to take pictures and document everything they did together. 

They rode our zipline, read some books, went to a basketball game, watched some TV and played with Merle and Dylan.

   

Mila & Ella had their birthday party at the International Exotic Animal Sanctuary. 

 It was such a fun place that is so close and I never even had heard of it! 

We got to see white tigers, lions, wolves, bears and get an incredible, up close tour of them all.

Anson spent the night with us after Monster Jam and stayed until we had Casa Manana the next day. 

It was so fun! 

 

We also got to take Aubrey with us too and she and Kinley went in their matching red coats. 

Valentines 2018

My love for DIY valentines runs deep.
We loved passing these out to all the classmates this year.

 Lunch with Sister on Valentines Day

  

Ben and I divided and conquered elementary valentines parties. 

I actually have no pictures of and never made Kinley's because as soon as I got to Ty's class I could tell he was not feeling well.

 His teacher said he kept telling her all day he was fine and refused to go to visit nurse Katy because he didn't want to miss the valentines day party. 

But, I convinced him we could take all his valentines to go and get a quick visit in to dr scott because sweet boy was feverish and not himself. 

You can so tell from these pics he just isn't quite right. 

 

 From party to doctor in a flash and out like a light in my lap before I could blink. 

 

We had a very low key evening with heart-shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's and a movie night on the couch.

  

Love my forever valentine and I can tell he loves me because he let me take a selfie with him...which he hates. 

Grant Baby Girls!

We hosted pretty much back to back baby showers for Katie and Lauren, both pregnant with baby girls a month apart.

 It was so fun hosting both of them for each other at the other one's house. 

We had a blast celebrating and party-prepping earlier in the week for both events and they turned out great! 

 First was Katie's shower at Lauren's house for baby Ava Madison. 

 

And this isn't baby related but we celebrated Katie's 30th later that week with a surprise dinner at Uncle Julio's and we all had these baby pics of Katie on a stick as decor and they were my favorite. Reminded me of my 18th birthday where Kristen made everyone wear a shirt with my picture on it. So fun. 

 

We turned around a few weeks later and hosted Lauren's baby shower at Katies house!

When Ava was born, Katie had our amazing friend Kate scheduled to take pictures in the hospital. 

Unexpectedly, Ava needed to come a tad bit earlier and Kate ended up being out of town shooting a wedding on the day of Ava's birth. 

So, Katie asked me to come and take some pictures of Ava meeting Easton for the first time in the hospital. 

 I told her to lower her expectations by 1 million percent. 

 But, if she merely wanted documentation, it would be my absolute pleasure!!! 

 I took some with her camera but could not leave without snagging a couple on my phone.

Just a couple weeks later, on Valentine's Day, sweet Ryan Claire was born and she is just as perfect! Knowing how much FUN it is to have Dylan and Anson just a couple weeks apart in age, it makes me so excited for these sweet girl cousins too :)
