Happy Birthday Honey!

Today is my mom's birthday and I wanted to take a minute to just celebrate her! My mom is my best friend. She is so fun and so funny. I really think she is one of the funniest people I know. She is beautiful, caring and supportive and inspires me everyday. She is an amazing mom, wonderful wife, loyal friend and just a blast to be around. Everyone that knows her loves her and she makes it known how thankful she is for a life that she loves.

This year for me has been such an eye opener to me just how much a mother can love their child. I could not have gotten through this year without my mom. I am thrilled that we live so close and that Kinley and I get to see her so often. I am thankful for all the time she keeps Kinley and all the advice she gives me. I only hope that one day Kinley will love, look up to, and admire me as much as I do her 'Honey.'

girls night out...

Tonight Kinley and I had such a fun night out with some sweet friends from high school. We met Nina, Mikki, Liz and baby Alli at Boston's and ate pizza laughed and played with babies! Kinley was in awe of baby Alli. I don't think she has ever seen another baby that little! She also LOVED Nina. She just stared at Nina and laughed at her and talked to her all night. It was so cute! Here are some pics from our fun girls night!

Kinley kept trying to tell Nina some funny jokes...so she would laugh with her.

Then the waiter brought Kinley a toy that we have at hone to play with. It is seriously one of her favorite toys ever. So sweet!

party invite pics.....

Now that it is March we are starting the countdown to Kinley's first birthday party. I just can't believe that a year has gone by already! Today we were trying to get some cute pics for the invitations....who knows if we can get anything good from these. I guess you will have to wait and see!

We tried to get some in the backyard...but, Kinley was way more interested in crawling around in the weeds than looking at the camera.

So, I put her in her favorite chair...but, she was not about to smile.

So, I had to tickle her and finally got a few smiles.


After her nap, we switched outfits and went for the front yard.
The grass was a little hard for Kinley to balance.

I was so excited Kinley's cute thongs from last summer still fit!

The bow was not lasting....

Then, Kinley just started enjoying herself outside....and that was pretty cute.

finale...

Lauryn came over last night to watch the Bachelor finale. Kinley and Lauryn played around for a while. Then with our dinner diet of Bud Light Lime and Kettle Corn, we sat in to watch what we already knew would happen...Jake and Vienna. It was so obvious and kinda uneventful....but, we didn't want to miss a minute.




The new couple...how do you guys feel about it?....On another note...I HAVE to go to St. Lucia sometime. How beautiful!

This is the akward Jake laugh that we kept rolling over laughing at. He is so cheesy I cant even take it!

11 Months....

Happy 11-month birthday baby girl! (since February does not have a 30th) I can't believe you are almost 1 year old! You bring us so much joy to our lives and bless us everyday by just being you. Now....on to the birthday party planning! So excited!

new skirts

Because my friends and I have to do EVERYTHING matching....I copied the adorable elastic waist skirts they have been making on Lullaby Lubbock with the pattern from here. Kinley and I will have to wear these in the summer...maybe over some cute swimsuits...but, I love them! I ended up trying a pattern and I think it turned out ok.

daddy-daughter night

Friday was a lazy day and night for miss Kinley. We hung out around the house all day and she had some quality daddy-daughter time Friday night. In her Kai-Lan inspired pj's (with pandas on them) she had a fun day.

She walked around...ALOT...her favorite new thing to do...

Played with some toys....

And loved on her daddy!
