It is such a treat when we get to spend a few days in a row at the lake. And I love it in the fall just as much as the summer. Slow, beautiful days outside playing and inside cooking and playing games. It is just the best.
Mendy made everybody matching shirts this year because the lake is truly our Happy Place. Self-timer for the win!
Thank goodness Aunt Minnie is around to help my kids make their paper bag Indian vests and play a game of "who can find the biggest leaf?!"
No makeup at the lake means Snapchat filters!
Family Turkey Trot at the lake.
This is basically me guilting them in to going running with me.
Cooking with my girl.
Boys prepping for the fried turkey
Happy Thanksgiving!
Even in November, its beautiful to get out on the lake and drive the boat.
Lots of games played at the lake.
Ty and I spent a good bit of time on this Ninjago Lego build
And the biggest hit of the week was a family obstacle relay race.
It was intense and so much fun creating obstacles in the backyard and racing to the finish.
Everyone had to participate.
No excuses.
Sparklers for the win!
More family walks complete with Kinley leading family stretching in the living room.
We even took the kids to the driving range on a beautiful day!
We cleaned up for some family pictures that Gary & Cheryl could use on their Christmas card.
I love a big family group picture.
Celebrated Pops' birthday too!
It was such a fun week at the Lake!
