Meet the Teacher & First Day of School

Just 4 days before Ty turned 2 and his Donut party the kids started preschool. 

 It is still crazy to me that Ty is in school. 

 Kinley started at 17 months and Ty is a good 7 months past that. It is definitely time but it still makes me a little sad that both kids are so big! 

 The friday before school started we had meet the teacher. 

 We did not plan it this way at all but most of our friends showed up at exactly the same minute we did so we all got to walk in together.  

Kinley and Arabella get to be in class together this year. 

 They never have been before so they are SO excited about it. Most of Kinley's class from last year was put in a different class though so that makes me even more thankful Arabella and Kinley are together!  

Ty did great at meet the teacher. We got to play with some toys and do some puzzles. I even left him in the room for a while to go to Kinley's class and he did great then also. 

 

 We went out to lunch with friends and it was such a fun meet the teacher day.  

The morning of the first day of school was so fun. We were on time...the kids were excited about a special cinnamon roll breakfast and their backpacks. 

 They let me take a thousand pics. 

Which I loved.

Kinley is loving her life at school. 

 Ty did great the first day. Day 2 and on has been a different story. We are praying Ty adjusts quickly and feels comfortable and happy like Kinley does.  

We ended the first day with a Sonic slurpee! 

 Looking forward to another great year!
