Kinley's 2nd Grade end of year program, Festival of Friends, is one that they have done at OC Taylor since I was a student there.
All of the kids dress up in a costume of any country in the world and sing songs from around the world.
Kinley talked about Festival of Friends for months leading up to the performance.
She sang the songs nonstop and she was SO excited to perform it.
She decided she wanted to be from China and wore her dress up Disney princes kimono dress and a cute little chopstick bun.
Love that she got to stand by Brawley and Aiden during the show.

For the night performance, Kinley had a costume change into a more legit costume we borrowed from the Nordells.
That "Love in Any Language" song gets me everytime.
It really pulls us all together and never apart...amiright?

Kinley has been part of Run club all year.
It is the best activity ever.
She just stays a little later on Friday afternoons and runs around the back field of the school.
They track their laps all year and earn prizes and rewards.
The last club meeting is a color run.

I guess all that Run Club time paid off, because Kinley rocked it in all the running events! She got 2nd and 3rd in both short distance races and tied for 3rd with Aslynn in the long-distance run

It was so cute seeing these girls cross the finish line, holding hands. Ali and I love to run together so it was so special to see our girls do it too.
Fill it Up is so fun to watch.
The kids love to pass that soaked sponge back over each others heads and get drenched.
Love that Kinley and Erika were in class together again this year.
