Last day of Preschool - Turtles 3 year old class

Today was Kinley's last day as a turtle in the 3 year old class at her preschool.

We have felt so blessed this year by the teachers she had, the friends she has made, and the way she has grown academically, socially and spiritually.

 

I always make the kids do a photo shoot the first and last day of school and I love to see how they change. Ty isn't even in school yet and is already a typical boy that doesn't want to do the photo shoot. He is sweet to participate...but, he is over it pretty quick.

Kinley moved with him all over the living room and did pretty much all she could to take a good picture with him and make him laugh.

Kinley tried to hug it out for a bit and Ty finally gave in.

We even moved outside....but, he was over that soon too.

She has grown so much!

We took some pics with a few friends from class. For teacher's gifts this year we just copied some super popular pinterest idea and wrapped up some fun summer goodies...a beach towel, magazine, lip sunscreen, nail polish, candy and a card written from me and Kinley. She is getting so good at writing and these teachers are very much responsible. I can just tell her what letter comes next and she can write them all. She wrote 'Thank You Ms. Vicki' and 'Thank You Ms. Mitzi' in their respective cards.

Then we met up with some playgroup friends in the hall and made a mad dash for the cupcake store in the pouring down rain because we had told the kids we would in advance...and you know how that goes :) We are excited summer is here and look forward to next year when Kinley the 4 year old class and Ty starts too! I can't believe only one more year until Kinley is in Kindergarten!
